Reishi is the ultimate “steadying” force for the nervous system. In the old days, Reishi was so protected that only royalty were allowed to use it. They called it the “Mushroom of Immortality” for a reason. It comes packed in different products- as powder, as capsules, but if you want the absolute highest version of this medicine, you have to look at the spores. They contain significantly higher concentrations of active compounds—particularly triterpenes and polysaccharides—compared to the fruiting body or mycelium.
